Which electric car did you choose? And what did you drive before?
I decided to buy a VW ID.3 for my first electric car. Before that, I drove a VW Touran.
What made you choose the VW ID.3?
Its affordability and the good value for money were the deciding factors for me. I’ve also had many years of good experiences with VW. I also liked that the ID.3 had been fully redesigned before I purchased it.
How do you use the vehicle on a daily basis?
I mainly use the ID.3 to commute to work. But I also occasionally use it for business trips within Switzerland, too.
Why did you switch to electric mobility?
Protecting the environment is very important to me and was the main reason why I switched from a regular combustion engine to an electric vehicle. This allows me to reduce my CO2 emissions when I drive.
What about the car most excites you?
Everything about the ID.3 is great. I think the entire car is fantastic.
And charging it and the range aren’t a problem for you?
The management company at my building installed a wall box in the underground car park. That eliminated the biggest problem. Because I drive relatively short distances in Switzerland the range of the ID.3 works for me. And charging the battery when I’m on the motorway isn’t a problem either.
Would you ever switch back to a car with a combustion engine?
No, never!
