Daniel Yule & Priska Nufer

Daniel Yule, slalom and giant slalom skier, Olympic and world champion

Daniel, what do you like about your Audi Q4 e-tron?

I love how quiet and comfortable it is to drive, and the new head-up display is great. Driving a fully electric car is kind of a similar challenge to skiing – almost like a slalom. It’s fun to try and adapt and improve your driving style to increase the range.

Does sustainability affect your day-to-day life in any way?

Yes, definitely. I try not to waste anything and buy local, seasonal food. That’s also why I don’t eat much meat and get some of my vegetables from my Dad’s garden.

What do you think about electric mobility?

It’s the little things that make the difference. Emission-free driving is the future. You can get where you need to be without emissions but still with the same comfort and convenience.

Priska Nufer, downhill and super-G skier

Priska, what do you like most about your Audi Q4 e-tron?

The fast acceleration and the great driving experience are amazing. But I also love the fact that the electric SUV is really quiet – it hardly makes a sound. After a stressful competition, I always look forward to the quiet journey home in my Q4 e-tron.

What role does sustainability play for you in your sporting career?

You need to strike the right balance between training and relaxation and plan sustainably to be ready to perform on the day of the competition. I also give my old ski equipment to my friends and younger athletes.

What do you like about driving an electric car?

Emission-free driving means you can help protect the environment. And the fact that all of the unavoidable emissions caused by the production of the Q4 e-tron are compensated by climate-protection measures is another big plus for me. I think that’s something that should be promoted much more.
