The more electric vehicles enter the market, the more often new drivers take driving lessons with these vehicles. Electric mobility also has its benefits for everyday driving school life, as demonstrated at the Bern West driving school, which has one of the first VW ID.3s in use. Both instructors and students are enthusiastic about this nippy little car. “We were one of the first schools in Switzerland to order it,” says owner and driving instructor Daniel Fehlmann. “For us, the ID.3 has the advantage that you can teach for a whole day without having to recharge.” Its maintenance-free single-speed transmission also makes it the perfect automatic training car.

A fifth Volkswagen will be added to the existing fleet at the Bern West driving school this summer. Why the brand loyalty? Daniel Fehlmann: “The reason for this can be summed up in just one word – satisfaction.”
