The partnership between the Swiss ski association Swiss-Ski and Audi Switzerland dates back to 1968. As the official vehicle partner, Audi has been making sure that Switzerland’s ski stars get to every training session and competition safely in any weather for over 50 years. Both Swiss-Ski and Audi place great value on sustainability, efficiency and performance. Starting with the 2020/2021 season, the Swiss-Ski vehicle fleet is gradually being electrified – initially with plug-in hybrid vehicles and with fully electric cars from the 2021/2022 season onwards. In the 2020/2021 season, a third of the athletes already chose a plug-in hybrid vehicle from Audi. This meant that the CO2 emissions of the fleet were reduced significantly. The Audi Q4 e-tron is the first fully electric car to join the vehicle fleet of the Swiss ski association Swiss-Ski. Despite its compact dimensions, the fully electric SUV with a modern design, 299 HP and a range of up to 488 kilometres (Q4 50 e-tron quattro) offers plenty of space for athletes and their winter sports equipment. Thanks to the sporty handling and electric four-wheel drive, the Swiss-Ski athletes always stay safely on the road even in snowy and icy conditions.
