Hilti

As a first step, Hilti Switzerland is replacing 120 of its fleet of about 300 vehicles with electric cars. In January 2023, the company received delivery of the first 35 of a total of 120 fully electric Škoda Enyaq iV models ordered for its fleet.

The vehicles were delivered in Volketswil (a canton of Zurich) in collaboration with AMAG Autowelt Zurich. For Hilti, the switch from ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles to electric mobility and the sourcing of the vehicles from Škoda is an important step on the way to CO2 neutrality. Hilti chose the Enyaq iV model on the strength of its high level of comfort, spacious interior, large boot and impressive range – employees will clock up an average of around 40,000 kilometres per year in the Enyaq iV. The field staff were able to test various models in everyday use before finally deciding in favour of the Škoda Enyaq iV. Safety was also a high priority for the employees, who were impressed by the wealth of safety and assistance systems provided in the Enyaq iV. To make these vehicles even more convenient to drive, Hilti selected various additional packages and assistance systems to complement the extensive range of standard equipment.
